The Vino de Mezcal 2014, our next series, carefully selected by Erick “@almamezcalera” Rodriguez, will be making it stateside throughout the summer. This series will again feature some Espadilla Pechugas with Mole Poblano from maestro mezcalillero Asuncion Matilde, made in Zoyatla, Puebla. However, these two new pechugas are made with roasted piglet and goose, respectively. In addition, we’ll be bringing in mezcales from Durango, Estado de Mexico and Jalisco. The first ones already hit our warehouse in Austin, TX…and the bulk should be making it across the river in June or July.
